Many of you know that my love for  The Stylist LA* runs deep ( as seen here) and this season is the PERFECT time to take advantage of their services. With all of the parties, events, and photo opps, it's impossible to wear a new dress every time or so you think...

Yes, black is safe but go for subtle details that will stand out + a touch of gold never fails:

How phenom are the velvet panels? Velvet screams  holiday and once the paneling hits the light it's pure magic! As I was shooting this I realized that the flared skirt style is extremely flattering on any body type; it accentuates the waist at the smallest part and balances everything else out.
