Spring Feels
Coming off a wonderful weekend
away in Catalina to celebrate my 31st! My biggest takeaway from spending the weekend there is how simple life can be ... it seems like we may be making it more complicated for ourselves on the mainland. Still reflecting on my past three days but have tons of good Catalina info for you in the next coming weeks!
For my LA crew, did anyone think that we were finally out of the cold last week? 65 degrees + sunny never looked so good and it appeared spring was finally upon us. Naturally, I got all excited with this outfit that I wore to the launch of LORAC's new "I Love Brunch" line. Come to find out is was all a tease. One can dream!

I bought this ref skirt a few weeks back because it has potential to be a great spring staple that can easily be dressed up or down, plus who doesn't love a good silk piece? A few notes about it: it wrinkles easily and hits a little longer than shown in the pictures. I imagine for someone who's 5'7"+ it probably hits upper thigh but I had to do a little Catholic schoolgirl roll to get the desired length.
Speaking of shopping, the best purchases are done at 1am, no? That's how these Acne boots came into my life and I'm not mad about it; a little birthday gift to myself! Alrighty friends, off to bed because it feels like 4am even though it's only 11pm. True story: we went to bed at 9pm every night in Catalina, so my body clock is all messed up.
