Mani Monday: Halloween Nails
It's really blowing my mind that we're more than halfway through October, especially because I'm a huge Halloween person and don't have a single costume idea. Yikes! Whether you're going all out for the occasion or just want a touch of spirit, this bloody mani is super simple yet totally ghoul worthy:
{opi red // revlon silhouette 330 // madewell bow ring}
This mani is pretty fool proof because the more "drippy" it looks the better.
- step 1: paint nude base coat -
- step 2: place a few red blobs on a piece of paper and dip the toothpick until you get a good drop amount on the end -
- step 3: start at the bottom of the drip then drag upwards towards tip of the nail -
- step 4: add a red tip as if you were creating a french tip manicure and fill in any awkward spaces using the toothpick -
- step 5: top with clear coat -
A few other reasons why I love this design: 1) almost everyone has red polish and a toothpick at home 2) if for some reason it chips at the tip just load on a little more red polish!
