#TargetStyle: Blogger Style Session
Fact: everything's better with friends. As a teenager, I'll I wanted to do (besides chase boys) was plan shopping dates with my bff. There's something about having a PIC telling you "hey, that looks incredible" or "nope, not doing it for you" or even inspire you to try a new look you'd never think of on your own. As a "grownup" I continue to look to others for style inspiration and appreciate the bff shopping dates even if they're few and far between.
For this month's Target campaign, Tarjay paired me up with another fab LA blogger, LA by Diana, for a little styling session. A new perspective is always nice especially as we head into the fall season. Diana and I chatted about my style, pieces I'm coveting for fall, my love for mixing high & low priced styles, and we ended up with this:
So me, right? I'm really embracing pencil skirts right now! Plaid is the print of the season and although plaid pencil skirts typically scream librarian, this baby proves it can be styled in a sexy and fresh way with a crop top and Jimmy Choo heels. As the weather cools down, I'm ready to pair it with a chunky knit sweater and cute high-heeled booties. Speaking of fall, there's a lot of pinspiration happening over on Pinterest! If only we could get some 60 degree temps to start bringing out the layers. #LAproblems PS: Don't forget to find your style @targetstyle!
