That Grown-Up Ballerina Look

Not sure about you but I always wanted to be a ballerina... I mean I was between the ages of 3 and 5 (like most of us), but by the time I was 14 and all the girls were in pointe shoes all I could do was dream. This was also the time when Center Stage came out and made being a ballerina look really cool! Of course, part of the draw of being a prima ballerina was the gorgeous tulle outfits. Thank goodness for grown-up ballerina skirts:

I just die for this skirt; it truly makes you feel special and oh-so girly! The waist band is elastic, so it fits great. One note: for us short girls it definitely hits WAY below the knee; it's almost ankle length as you can tell. Midi-skirts are super fun and a tulle one is great alternative to the typical holiday dress.

Btw, hope you all know how much I appreciate your comments on the blog and overall engagement on social media. I've been a bit crazy lately (as I'm sure you are) and haven't been able to acknowledge your sweet words like I'd like to. Just know that they don't go unnoticed. Happy Monday!
