Spring Uniform: Stripes + Chambray

... and some how it's March! Finally getting into an outfit groove, anyone else? January and February are always so weird because the holidays are over and it's not spring yet, so I always find myself in an outfit/shopping rut. Ironically, what I'm banking on as my spring uniform, basically came from existing pieces in my closet. The only new piece: high-waisted jeans.

How are you guys feeling about the high-waisted jeans trend?

It's amazing how a new pair of jeans can bring life to an old outfit! The high-waisted denim thing is becoming more and more popular, and honestly, I never thought I'd be a fan. Sure, I love me a high-waisted bikini, but for some reason I always thought pants/jeans would not be flattering.

Why? Well I'm 5'3" and somewhat curvy for my height in the booty and boobs. Every gal I've seen rocking high-waisted denim is model tall and, well, has a pancake butt! Long story short, I finally decided to try on a pair and love 'em. Plus, they actually make real booties look AMAZING!
