Making a Case for Yellow

There's nothing like vacay to help you step out of your comfort zone! It's such a great time to play with new colors, try different styles, and just have fun with fashion. That was my mindset when picking up this mustard yellow number:

I fell in love with this dress the second I put it on; you guys fell in love with it the second I put it on Instagram! There's currently a waiting list for it on Lulus - sad, I know - but put your name on it and hopefully it will come back. The fit is true to size and it's super comfy and just perfect for a tropical vacay. During the day I wore flat sandals or went barefoot and I dressed it up in the evening with chunky brown heels and my signature denim jacket.

What's so funny is now I'm starting to see mustard yellow EVERYWHERE - bags, shoes, earrings - it's really a great color for summer because it compliments a tan like no other.  Here are some of my fave yellow dresses in case you're in the market:
